SACRAMENTO — The California Air Resources Board today announced a settlement with AltAir-Paramount, LLC addressing reporting violations under the Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS). The settlement is valued at $132,500.
SACRAMENTO – Today CARB Executive Officer Richard W. Corey announced the appointment of Chanell Fletcher as the Deputy Executive Officer of Environmental Justice. The California Air Resources Board has awarded 11 grants totaling $19.5 million to community-based organizations and local governments across California that will help disadvantaged and low-income communities address transportation needs with innovative clean, sustainable transportation solutions.
SACRAMENTO – California electric utilities are teaming up with the California Air Resources Board (CARB) to offer the California Clean Fuel Reward (CCFR), a point-of-sale price reduction of up to $1,500 for the purchase or lease of any eligible new Battery Electric or Plug-in Hybrid vehicle from a participating automotive retailer. Starting on Nov. 17, consumers will be able to purchase an eligible vehicle from an enrolled retailer and receive an instant reduction in the purchase price.

SACRAMENTO – California Attorney General Xavier Becerra and the California Air Resources Board (CARB) today filed a motion to intervene in a lawsuit challenging the Port of Los Angeles’ approval of the revised China Shipping Terminal project and certification of its Supplemental Environmental Impact Report (EIR). The China Shipping Terminal is located at the Port of Los Angeles, in close proximity to residential communities that are already exposed to disproportionately high amounts of air pollution.
