Criteria Pollutant Emission Inventory

The California Criteria Pollutant Emission Inventory tracks air pollutants regulated under federal and state clean air standards, such as particulate matter, ozone precursors, sulfur oxides, nitrogen oxides, and lead. Maintained through California's Emission Inventory Development and Reporting System (CEIDARS), this data feeds into the California Emission Projection Analysis Model (CEPAM) for future air quality planning. Understanding these emissions helps identify pollution sources and develop strategies to improve air quality for all Californians.
