SACRAMENTO: Heavy-duty vehicle public fleet owners subject to California’s Advanced Clean Fleet (ACF) regulation have new flexibility in meeting the regulation’s requirements along with streamlined processes for applying for exemptions.
What you need to know: Zero-emission vehicles (ZEVs) made up nearly 23% of new medium- and heavy-duty vehicle sales in California in 2024 — more than double the state’s target and the highest total of ZEV sales ever reported. Demand remains high with nearly $200 million in incentive funding requests submitted on the very first day applications opened this month.
SACRAMENTO — The California Air Resources Board (CARB) today submitted comments opposing the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) illegal push to end federal responsibility for greenhouse gas emissions by overturning its 2009 endangerment finding.
