The California Air Resources Board (CARB) invites you to participate in technical summits on the implementation of the Community Air Protection Program (Program).
The Program was established as directed in Assembly Bill (AB) 617 (C.Garcia, Chapter 136, Statutes of 2017) and provides a new community-focused action framework to reduce exposure in disadvantaged communities most impacted by air pollution. Development of the Program is still in the early stages, and staff have drafted a concept paper to seek continued advice and feedback to guide our efforts going forward. The summits will provide stakeholders with the opportunity to have a detailed discussion about the draft concept paper.
