CARB scheduled a public meeting on May 19, 2016 to consider approval of the 2016 Owens Valley PM10 SIP, which expands the number of approved control measures to help the City of Los Angeles conserve water used in Owens Lake dust control. The District's Board adopted the 2016 Revisions to the Owens Valley PM10 Plan at a public hearing on April 13, 2016.
