In February 2008, the Great Basin Unified Air Pollution Control District Board adopted the 2008 Owens Valley PM10 Attainment Demonstration Plan. The Plan reflects a settlement agreement reached between the District and the City of Los Angeles (City) concerning the level of additional control needed for the Owens dry lake bed to attain the PM10 federal standard and revised the 2003 SIP for this area.
