California Air Resources Board

Welcome to the Outreach & Education Workgroup page.  This is a workgroup of the Zero-emission Vehicle Equity Task Force and will contain notes from our monthly workgroup meetings, information about the meetings and resources that will be helpful as we develop projects to move forward.

In 2023, the workgroup discussed several project ideas and potential venues for advancing them. This information is detailed in the notes from the December 19, 2023 workgroup meeting.

The workgroup will be meeting later in 2024 to work with Electrify America Cycle 4 Proposed Investment Plan where $500K of the $5.7 million Electrify America investment for public education, awareness, access and marketing activities for Cycle 4 will fund initiatives proposed by the ZEV Equity Task Force, specifically those from the Outreach and Education Working Group due to the strong alignment between the working group's objectives and ZEAP.  The workgroup will meet later in 2024 to get more details about this process.

Future meetings will be convened in an ad hoc basis based on participant interests and project needs.  Please reach out to zevequity@arb.ca.gov if you have any projects or a particular interest you would like to discuss with this workgroup.
