This item will be considered at a meeting of the Board, which will commence at 9:00 a.m., December 12, 2019, and may continue at 9:00 a.m., on December 13, 2019. Please consult the agenda for the hearing, which will be available at least ten days before December 12, 2019, to determine the day on which this item will be considered.

Public Workshop Meeting to Provide an Update on Light- and Heavy-Duty Fleet Requirements and Public Workgroup to Discuss Advanced Clean Trucks Regulation
The California Air Resources Board (CARB) will be hosting two public meetings both relating to zero-emission vehicle requirements for fleets and manufacturers. The first meeting is a workshop primarily for fleets and will discuss planned and future light- and heavy-duty fleet rules, provide information on how to stay informed and participate in upcoming rulemaking efforts, and provide a discussion on potential reporting requirements for car and truck fleets. This meeting will take place in Sacramento and will be webcast.
The second meeting will be workgroup continuation of the Advanced Clean Truck fleet/manufacturer meetings expanded into a public setting. This meeting will focus the market potential for zero-emission trucks. This part of the meeting will not be available via webcast therefore in-person participation is required.

Advanced Clean Local Truck WorkshopSecond public workshop to discuss how best to advance the market for advanced clean truck technologies primarily in local truck and last mile delivery application. The discussion will include an overview of a potential regulatory concept that would apply to chassis manufacturers, a detailed discussion with the investor-owned utilities about the SB 350 proposals to remove barriers for transportation electrification, a draft fleet survey questionnaire, and a continued discussion on costs.
