10-31-24 EJAC Letter to CARB Board on the Low Carbon Fuel Standard Regulation First and Second 15-Day Changes
The CARB Low Carbon Fuel Standard first and second 15-day changes were released. Responses to the EJAC's LCFS Recommendations based on the changes were sent to the EJAC on October 22, 2024. In response to the changes, the EJAC members developed a letter to the Board, which was distributed to Board members on October 31, 2024.

10-22-24 CARB Memo with Response to EJAC Charter Subgroup Proposal
During the October 8th EJAC Charter Subgroup Meeting, the EJAC Charter Subgroup proposed a list of ideas for the Charter Revisions. The ideas were also presented during the October 11th EJAC Public Meeting. CARB developed a memo with responses as a follow up.
7-16-24 CARB Memo with Responses to EJAC on Senate Bill 905 and Cap-and-Trade Program Questions
During the June 14th EJAC Public Meeting, a few questions came up from EJAC Members regarding Senate Bill 905 as well as the Cap-and-Trade Program. CARB developed a memo with responses as a follow up from the meeting.
10-9-23 Memo to EJAC on CARB efforts
During the 45-day LCFS proposal, EJAC provided recommendations which were submitted to the public comment docket. CARB staff transmitted these recommendations to board members, as well as the Chair of CARB. This memo from Dr. Cliff, Executive Officer of CARB, provides CARB responses to the EJAC LCFS Resolution and Recommendations.
Memo to EJAC on CARB Efforts Operationalizing Environmental Justice Policy
At the August 25th Assembly Bill 32 Environmental Justice Advisory Committee (EJAC) meeting, CARB’s Environmental Justice Policy (EJ Policy), approved in 2001, was discussed. EJAC suggested that the California Air Resources Board (CARB) hold a sub-quorum discussion to update the EJ Policy. We have scheduled this discussion for mid-October. In the interim, we would like to provide more information to all EJAC members about CARB’s ongoing efforts to operationalize key elements of the EJ Policy.

CalETC Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS) Fact Sheet
CalETC developed a fact sheet demonstrating the importance of the Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS). The fact sheet provides details of LCFS and what targets it's achieving. The fact sheet was shared with EJAC members on June 24, 2024.

The Climate Reality Project Letter on the Public Cap-and-Trade Workshop
CARB received a letter from The Climate Reality Project on May 8, 2024, regarding the Public Cap-and-Trade Workshop that took place on April 23, 2024. The comments pertain primarily to the EJAC Presentation given at the workshop and comments made by the EJAC at Senate hearings.

Environmental Organizations Letter of Concern on Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS) Public Process
CARB received a letter from several environmental organizations on April 24, 2024, regarding concerns with the Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS) Rulemaking Process specific to the Public Workshop that took place on April 10th. The letter states that these organizations will be organizing their own Community Workshop to allow for an open discussion of the current proposal and tangible solutions that support CARB’s goals. The letter offered an invite to all the Board members to hear directly from community members about their thoughts on the current proposal and tangible solutions.

California Electric Transportation Coalition (Cal ETC) Letter of Support for the Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS)
CARB received a letter from the California Electric Transportation Coalition (Cal ETC) on March 12, 2024, noting their support of California’s Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS). Cal ETC is a coalition making progress toward California’s clean air and climate change goals for more than 25 years by supporting electrification of all forms of transportation, while promoting equitable job creation and economic development. This letter was provided by CARB staff to all EJAC on April 23, 2024.

Alliance for Automotive Innovation's Letter of Support for the Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS)
The Alliance for Automotive Innovation is a trade association representing the full value chain of the light-duty vehicle industry. They submitted a letter in support of California’s Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS) to Governor Gavin Newsom and Chair Liane Randolph, which cc'd the Assembly Bill 32 Environmental Justice Advisory Committee (EJAC) members. This letter was provided by CARB staff to all EJAC on April 11, 2024.
