- 2,064 tons of oxides of nitrogen (NOₓ) reductions*
- 33.6 tons of reactive organic gases (ROG)/hydrocarbon (HC) reductions*

Participation Demographics
- Since its inception in 2010, HVIP has supported the purchase of over 7,762 zero-emission trucks and buses, 2,500 hybrid trucks, 2,400 natural gas engines, and 290 trucks outfitted with electric power take-off (ePTO) by California fleets through May 2023.
- Small-fleets and small businesses actively participated in HVIP—over 20 percent of the fleets that requested vouchers operate 10 or fewer vehicles.
- Over 70 percent of vouchers requested were for vehicles domiciled in disadvantaged communities.
- About a quarter of voucher requests were from fleets with less than $10 million in annual revenue and 38 percent of voucher requests were from fleets with less than $50 million in annual revenue.
- 10 percent of voucher requests were from fleets that stated they were certified as Disadvantaged Business Enterprises.
