AB 617 requires that air districts prepare an annual report for each community emission reduction program (CERP). CARB’s Community Air Protection Blueprint 2.0 (Blueprint 2.0) describes the required content, public noticing, and timing of the annual reports, prepared by air districts. Many of these achievements and success stories are also available in our online Community Air Protection Progress StoryMap.

CARB reviewed annual reports for 2024 submitted by air districts and released the Community Air Protection Program Annual Progress Report - July 2025. Based on the comments received, CARB staff will present the report to the CARB Board at the July 24, 2025 meeting.
