Zanotti, S.P.A. will pay $16,000.00 for violating air quality regulations: $3,000.00 is a penalty to resolve its violations and will go to the Air Pollution Control Fund, which provides funding for projects and research to improve California's air quality; $13,000.00 is a reimbursement to the School Bus Supplemental Environmental Project. This settlement was reached in March, 2016.

To settle the case, Zanotti, S.p.A. agreed to the $16,000.00 payment and to comply with the Off-road Engine, TRU, and other ARB programs.
