West Port Case Settled - $3,000
West Port Petroleum imported two batches of predictive model CARBOB on the marine vessel "Farandole." Their protocol with the Air Resources Board requires a first notification five days before the vessel is due to arrive, followed by a final notification designating either the receiving shore tanks or the marine vessel as the import facility. The final notification is to be submitted before the start of transfer from the import facility. West Port failed to submit their first notification and then submitted two final notifications, one designating the shore tank as the import facility for some of the gasoline and another designating the marine vessel for the remainder of the gasoline. Neither designated the gasoline as CARBOB. The case has been settled for $3,000.
