$15,000 in Fines Paid by Universal Packaging

A settlement was reached with Universal Packaging, a manufacturer of ROK-N-HRD Gel, on July 30, 2007, for $15,000. This non-compliant product was being sold at various hair salons in California during the period May 2003 through December 2005. Approximately 3,889 containers of non-compliant product were sold during that time.
