TVN Trucking Case Settles for $750
In September 2014, TVN Trucking paid $750.00 in penalties for violating air quality regulations: $563.00 went to the Air Pollution Control Fund, which provides funding for projects and research to improve California's air quality; $186.00 went to the Peralta Colleges Foundation to fund emission education classes conducted by participating California community colleges, under the California Council for Diesel Education and Technology (CCDET) program.
An investigation by the Air Resources Board (ARB) showed that TVN Trucking failed to timely report all required information in the fleet for which the owner has elected to utilize the compliance options/credits/provisions of 13 § 2025(h) as required by the Statewide Truck & Bus Regulation (STB). ARB documented violations as they related to STB. To settle the case, TVN Trucking agreed to the $750.00 penalty and to comply with STB and other ARB programs.
