Tim Kemper Case Settles for $375
In September 2014, Tim Kemper paid $375.00 in penalties for violating air quality regulations: $281.00 went to the California Air Pollution Control Fund, which provides funding for projects and research to improve California's air quality; $94.00 went to the Peralta Colleges Foundation to fund emission education classes conducted by participating California community colleges, under the California Council for Diesel Education and Technology (CCDET) program.
An investigation by the Air Resources Board (ARB) showed that Tim Kemper failed to timely report all required information for the vehicle for which the owner has elected to utilize the compliance extension option for low-mileage construction trucks. ARB documented a violation as it related to the Statewide Truck and Bus Regulation. To settle the case, Tim Kemper agreed to the $375.00 penalty and to comply with the Statewide Truck and Bus Regulation.
