Suyen Corporation USA Case Settles for $5,000

A consumer products case was settled with Suyen Corporation USA on June 22, 2012 for two of its Hair Styling products and one Personal Fragrance product. These products violated their respected category VOC limits specified in Title 17, California Code of Regulations, section 94509 (a). Suyen Corporation USA sold Bench Fix Hair Refresher Azure, Bench Fix Hair Refresher Citron, and Bench Ardore Deobody Spray in California between 2006 and 2011 that resulted in 0.008 tons of excess VOC emissions. In addition, the Company failed to file an explanation of the product dating codes prior to selling the products. The company paid $5,000 to settle the case.
