$9,500 in Fines Paid by Shell / Malaysia

Shell reported that on June 18, 2004, an import of diesel fuel from Malaysia had arrived without a first notification to ARB as required by their protocol. A new trader had failed to notify the appropriate Shell staff about the import until it was too late. The case was settled for $9,500 and closed in June 2005.
