Rodgers Trucking Company Case Settles for $22,100
Rodgers Trucking Company has agreed to pay $22,100.00 in penalties for violating air quality regulations; $16,575 will be paid to the Air Pollution Control Fund and $5,525 will be paid to the Peralta Community College District for distribution to participating California Council on Diesel Education and Technology (CCDET) colleges. This settlement was reached in July 2014.
An investigation by the Air Resources Board (ARB) showed that Rodgers Trucking Company Inc failed to comply with the Drayage Truck Regulation by dispatching and owning drayage trucks not compliant with the emissions standards set forth in the Drayage Truck Regulation. To settle the case, Rodgers Trucking Company has agreed to the $22,100.00 penalty and to comply with the Drayage Truck Regulation and other ARB applicable regulations.
