Recording of Public Webinar to Discuss Assembly Bill 617 Community Air Protection Incentives 2019 Guidelines for Stationary Source and Community-Identified Projects
On May 14, 2020, the California Air Resources Board hosted a public webinar to seek guidance from community members on a proposed new chapter of the Community Air Protection Incentives 2019 Guidelines. This new chapter would provide a framework for air districts and their communities to create brand new categories of incentives for stationary sources, as well as community-identified projects consistent with Community Emissions Reduction Programs developed by air districts pursuant to Assembly Bill 617.
The webinar was attended by over 200 individuals, including community members from neighborhoods across the State that continue to suffer from disproportionate levels of air pollution, air district staff, industry stakeholders, members of other environmental and public health advocacy organizations, and community-based organizations.
For those unable to attend, a recording of the webinar has been posted.
