The Eastern Kern Air Pollution Control District (District) adopted the Reasonably Available Control Technology (RACT) State Implementation Plan (SIP) for the 2008 and 2015 8-Hour Ozone National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS) (2023 RACT SIP) on July 27, 2023. CARB submitted the RACT SIP on behalf of the District on October 25, 2023.
