The proposed 2019 South Coast PM2.5 Contingency Measure was withdrawn on February 13, 2019, and therefore was not heard at the February 21, 2019, Board meeting.
On February 21, 2019, the Board will consider amending the 2018 SIP Update Statewide Contingency Measure to include the 12 ug/m3 annual and 35 ug/m3 24-hour PM2.5 standards in the South Coast Air Basin to the list of nonattainment area standards covered by the Statewide Contingency Measure in Chapter X of the 2018 Updates to the California State Implementation Plan.
CARB Statewide Contingency Measure for the South Coast PM2.5 Standards
On February 13, 2019, CARB submitted the South Coast Air District commitment to adopt contingency measures for the 2006 24-hour and 2012 annual PM2.5 standards.
