This document describes the communities CARB staff is recommending the Governing Board select for the first year (2018) of the Community Air Protection Program (Program). These community recommendations are drawn from CARB's statewide assessment, technical analyses by air districts and community-based organizations, and input received through public engagement. The Board is scheduled to consider staff’s recommendations at its September 2018 public meeting.
