The Mojave Desert Planning Area covers the Victor Valley/Barstow region in San Bernardino County, plus the Yucca Valley and Twentynine Palms areas south of the boundary of the Twentynine Palms Marine Base. The Mojave Desert Air Quality Management District (Mojave Desert AQMD) has jurisdiction over the Mojave Desert Planning Area.
