Research Screening Committee
The Board's legislatively mandated Research Screening Committee consists of scientists, engineers, and others knowledgeable, technically qualified, and experienced in air pollution problems. The Committee meets approximately 2-4 times a year to review proposed and completed research projects.

Scientific Review Panel
The Scientific Review Panel is charged with evaluating the risk assessments of substances proposed for identification as toxic air contaminants by the Air Resources Board, the Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) and the Department of Pesticide Regulation, and the review of guidelines prepared by OEHHA.
