The California Air Resources Board (CARB or Board) invites community members and interested stakeholders to submit comments and participate in virtual community meetings to hear an overview of California’s Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS) program and provide input on potential future LCFS changes with CARB staff. The LCFS regulation reduces greenhouse gas emissions from transportation fuels used in California and is an important tool in California’s fight against climate change. CARB staff will be holding two virtual community meetings on Zoom, with the same content shared at each. Staff will begin with an overview presentation, including material presented at previous LCFS workshops, and will then make themselves available for questions and comments from the attendees. The goal of the workshops is to hear from community members interested in how the LCFS works and how to improve the LCFS in the future.
