Thank you to CARB for allowing this forum for public comments. Thank you to Vertex and EcoEngineers for submitting the application.

It is unfortunate Vertex is suspending its RD production just as these pathways are close to being certified. Hopefully there can be enough recovery in D4 RIN and CA LCFS credit values to make it worthwhile for Vertex to re-establish production in the future.

Hat tip to EcoEngineers for a nicely formatted application that is quite easy to follow and understand. I greatly appreciate the lack of extensive redaction that plagues so many other applications.

I have no reason to argue against Vertex being granted Tier 2 status and hope they will return to the market in the future.
