The Plastics Group Case Settles for $13,091.00

The Plastics Group manufactures Portable Fuel Containers, including the Kolpin Fuel Pack Jr. product. Laboratory testing performed by the Air Resources Board Monitoring and Laboratory Division demonstrated that the Kolpin Fuel Pack Jr. product did not comply with the requirements for portable fuel containers and spouts specified in title 13, California Code of Regulations, section 2467. 

The Plastics Group provided ARB with all needed information during the agency’s investigation and fully cooperated in the resolution of this matter. The case was settled in February 2014 for a total of $13,091.00.
