Pioneer Truck Stop Case Settles for $1,000

On May 20, 2008, ARB staff conducted routine sampling at Pioneer Truck Stop in Bakersfield, California and found a violation of fuel specification regulations.  The midgrade and premium grade had an RVP that exceeded the State standard as defined in the California Code of Regulations Title 13, Section 2262.4 Compliance with the California Reformulated Gasoline Phase 2 and Phase 3 Standards for RVP.  On October 15, 2009 the case was settled for $1,000.
