PARC Environmental Case Settles for $4,800
PARC Environmental agreed to pay $4,800 in penalties; $3600 to the California Air Pollution Fund, $600 to the California Air Pollution Financing Authority and $600 to Peralta Community College District, for violating air quality regulations. An investigation by the Air Resources Board (ARB) showed that PARC Environmental failed to properly self-inspect their diesel trucks to assure the trucks met state smoke emission standards. ARB documented violations as they related to the Periodic Smoke Inspection Program (PSIP). To settle the case, PARC Environmental agreed to the $4,800 penalty and to comply with the PSIP and other ARB programs.
