A.P. Deauville Case Settles for $50,000
In 2005, A.P. Deauville supplied Power Stick Deodorant Body Spray product that contained VOCs in excess of the 75 percent limit for Personal Fragrance Products to California. The product has since been reformulated to meet the VOC limit for the product category. The company agreed to make payments totaling $50,000 to the Air Pollution Control Fund and the agreement was executed on December 24, 2010. CPES staff is continuing to work with the company to resolve other matters in relation to this case.
