CARB’s Natural Gas Transmission and Distribution (NG T&D) program provides information on greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions downstream from the oil and gas production and processing sector.  Senate Bill 1371 (SB 1371) requires the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) to adopt rules and procedures, in consultation with CARB, to reduce GHG emissions from commission-regulated gas pipeline facilities that are intrastate transmission and distribution lines.  To follow activities to reduce NG T&D emissions in California, please visit CARB’s SB 1371 webpage.
