The Equipment and Process Precertification (Equipment Precertification) Program is a voluntary fee-based program administered by CARB for manufacturers of commonly-used equipment or processes that are operated at stationary sources. Manufacturers request the CARB to conduct a third-party verification of performance claims, which focus on the air quality benefits of their equipment or processes.
