The California Air Resources Board (CARB) invites you to participate in an informational meeting on Assembly Bill (AB) 617 (C. Garcia, Chapter 136, Statutes of 2017) and development of the Community Air Protection Program (CAPP or Program). The Program’s focus is to reduce exposure in neighborhoods most impacted by air pollution. Over the next few years, CARB staff will be working closely with local air districts, community groups, community members, environmental organizations, and regulated industries to reduce harmful air emissions and create this new framework for community protection.
