Online registration for 2026 will be available November 4, 2026, and registration is due by December 19, 2026.
Registration Information
Battery supplier and re-manufacturers must provide the following information:
- Entity name
- Physical address
- Mailing address
- Email address
- Contact name
- Contact title
- Telephone number
- A list of vehicle traction battery types the entity sold, distributed for sale, imported for sale, or offered for sale in or into California
- A list of brands of vehicle traction batteries the entity sold, distributed for sale, imported for sale, or offered for sale in or into California
Annual Updates
After initial registration, suppliers and remanufacturers will need to update their registration information and battery type and brand lists every year by July 1, or upon request by CARB.
