Required Initial Registration Information for 2026

Battery supplier and re-manufacturers must provide the following information:

Entity name
Physical address
Mailing address
Email address
Telephone number
List of vehicle traction battery types sold, distributed for sale, imported for sale, or offered for sale in or into California
List of vehicle traction battery brands sold, distributed for sale, imported for sale, or offered for sale in or into California

Annual Updates

After initial registration, entities must update their registration information and vehicle traction battery type and brand lists on or before July 1 of each year, and upon CARB's request.
