This meeting was held to provide an update to, and receive comments on, the proposed ATCM to Reduce Emissions of Chlorinated Toxic Air Contaminants from Automotive Maintenance and Repair Activities. CARB staff presented information on CARB's authority to control air toxics, summarized the information gathering process, discussed potential near source health impacts and reviewed the proposed ATCM and the evaluation of alternative products and processes. CARB staff also presented findings on flammability issues and time frames associated with the ATCM. Please view CARB's slide presentation below.
