SACRAMENTO – The staff of the California Air Resources Board and the Bay Area Air Quality Management (AQMD) will hold a comment meeting on the Bay Area's Ozone Plan:

Revisions to the Bay Area Ozone Plan will be discussed and public comments will be collected. The California Air Resources Board, a Department of the California Environmental Protection Agency, will consider the Plan at its July 26-27 meeting in San Francisco.
The Association of Bay Area Governments, Metropolitan Transportation Authority and the AQMD are planning to consider adopting the plan on July 18.
CARB's mission is to promote and protect public health, welfare, and ecological resources through effective reduction of air pollutants while recognizing and considering effects on the economy. The CARB oversees all air pollution control efforts in California to attain and maintain health based air quality standards.
