BACKGROUND:
Participants will discuss the latest technologies for Zero-Emission Vehicles and advanced combustion engines that go beyond information captured in the joint Technical Assessment Report released by the U.S. EPA, National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and CARB in July 2016.
Symposium discussions will help inform a CARB staff proposal in December for possible changes to the ZEV Regulation, and provide insight into opportunities for California's next steps in the midterm evaluation process for the adopted standards for model years 2022-2025.
