Lehigh Southwest Cement Company Case Settles for $10,000.00

Lehigh’s greenhouse gas emissions data report for the year 2011, required under the Regulation for the Mandatory Reporting of Greenhouse Gas Emissions, California Code of Regulations, title 17, section 95100 et seq., contained minor errors. The report received an adverse verification statement, although it was ultimately determined to be free of any material misstatement. The reported emissions matched very closely with the emissions assigned by ARB. Lehigh cooperated in ARB’s investigation. To resolve the matter, Lehigh agreed to update its Greenhouse Gas Monitoring Plan, and to pay a penalty of $10,000.
