LAFCO New York Case Settles for $9,000

On September 9, 2009, a case was settled with LAFCO New York for selling non-compliant reed diffusers into California from January 2007 through December 2008.  These products exceeded the 18 percent limit for the (liquid/pump spray) Air Freshener category specified in Title 17, CCR, Section 94509(a).  LAFCO New York paid $9,000 to settle this case.
