Kerr Trucking, INC. Settles For $15,500.00

In October 2019, the California Air Resources Board (CARB) settled a case for $15,500.00 with Kerr Trucking, Inc. (Kerr Trucking), located in Fontana, California.  CARB documented violations by Kerr Trucking for:

• Failure to verify that each hired or dispatched vehicle was in compliance with the Truck and Bus Regulation for twenty-two hired fleets in 2017 and 2018 determined to be in compliance with the Truck and Bus Regulation; and
   
• Failure to verify that each hired or dispatched vehicle was in compliance with the Truck and Bus regulation for four hired fleet in 2017 and 2018 determined to be out of compliance with the Truck and Bus Regulation.

Kerr Trucking entered into a settlement agreement with CARB and agreed to pay a total penalty amount of $15,500.00 for their violations.  In addition, Kerr Trucking agreed to develop a plan to verify hired fleets are in compliance with the Truck and Bus Regulation.  Kerr Trucking was cooperative with submitting documentation during the course of the audit and agreed to become compliant with California’s air quality regulations within the requested timeframe.
