John Deere Case Settled for $200,000

During June 2002, Enforcement Division staff settled a case with John Deere for selling non-California certified lawn and garden equipment. This $200,000 settlement will be split with $100,000 going to the Air Pollution Control Fund and $100,000 going towards an exchange program for compliant lawn and garden equipment. A detailed highlight regarding this case will follow next month.
