Welcome to the Infrastructure Workgroup webpage.  This is a workgroup of the Zero-emission Vehicle Equity Task Force and contains notes from the workgroup meetings.

The Infrastructure Workgroup, co-facilitated with the Energy Commission, has been thinking about how to scale up infrastructure in disadvantaged communities to bolster ZEV deployment. This workgroup has focused on strategies that prioritize equitable access to charging options. To date, our primary focus has been on the discussion of EV charging cards, with the California Integrated Travel Project (or Cal-ITP) team presenting on September 27 with updates on ongoing efforts.  

The California Energy Commission has numerous venues where they are engaged on increasing access to ZEV infrastructure.  Please see the January 24, 2024 meeting notes for more details about what the CEC is doing.

Future meetings can be convened if a participant contacts us with a project or topic they would like to bring to the workgroup.  Please reach out to zevequity@arb.ca.gov if you have any projects or a particular interest you would like to discuss with this workgroup.
