• GHG Phase 2 MAC #2020-02

             The California Phase 2 GHG regulations establishes GHG standards that are largely harmonized with the corresponding federal Phase 2 standards but also incorporates minor differences that are needed to facilitate CARB's enforcement of the regulations. This Manufacturers Advisory Correspondence (MAC) provides guidance on the certification and associated reporting requirements of the California Phase 2 GHG regulation that became effective on April 1st, 2019. This MAC provides guidance on the regulatory requirements necessary to demonstrate compliance with the California Phase 2 regulations, the reporting of California sales numbers, the Average, Banking and Trading program, and additional documents needed for certification.

• AC Leakage MAC #2022-01

        This MAC provides clarifications on the California Phase 2 GHG regulation A/C leakage requirements for 2021 and subsequent model year medium- and heavy-duty vehicles whose A/C system installation involves both a certifying vehicle manufacturer and one or more non-certifying secondary vehicle manufacturers.
