The California Air Resources Board, with the support of the California Air Pollution Control Officers Association, has developed a video series on Air Quality Fundamentals to provide an introduction to air pollution control and greenhouse gas emissions reduction in California.
Health Effects of Air Pollution
The health effects of air pollution vary based on exposure and the type of pollutant. In addition, some individuals are more susceptible to the health effects of air pollution and certain communities are exposed to disproportionately high levels of air pollution. Watch to learn more about pollutants, such as PM 2.5, Ozone, and Toxics Air Contaminants; their potential health effects; and which populations have higher risks of adverse effects.
