Gulfstream Case Settled for $15,000
An informant advised the Air Resources Board that Gulfstream was using jet fuel instead of diesel in its refueling truck at the Long Beach Airport, even though they had been advised this was not a legal practice. The jet fuel was sampled in January 2001 and was found to exceed the sulfur standard for diesel. The case was recently settled for $15,000. These penalties go to the Air Pollution Control Fund.
