Great Outdoor Products LLC. Case Settles for $4,800
In March 2019, Great Outdoor Products LLC. (Great Outdoors) of Wood Cross, Utah, settled its case with the California Air Resources Board (CARB). The case involved Portable Fuel Containers (PFC) under the brand Rotopax that did not have a CARB Executive Order located anywhere on the PFC. Upon further investigation, the PFC did have a valid Executive Order but were improperly molded without an Executive Order imprint. This was in violation of Title 13 of the California Code of Regulations Section 2467.5. Great Outdoors has agreed to pay a $200.00 per unit penalty resulting in a total penalty amount of $4,800. Great Outdoors is now in compliance with the California regulation.
