$2,000 in Fines Paid by Fuel for Less

Routine sampling on April 17, 2007, at this Paramount service station found that the premium grade of gasoline had a Reid vapor pressure of 7.54 pounds per square inch (psi), and the midgrade gasoline had a Reid vapor pressure of 7.73 psi, both of which exceed the summertime State cap limit of 7.2 psi. The case settled for $2,000 in August 2007.
