FTI Corporation Case Settles for $23,000

Between July 2013 and June 2013, Troy Corporation d/b/a/FTI Corporation manufactured for sale in California their Tetra Gun Degreaser: Action Blaster product that contained methylene chloride in violation of the prohibition against using chlorinated solvents in General Purpose Degreasers. The company immediately ceased sale of the product and has agreed to reformulate without using any chlorinated solvents. The case was settled on June 19, 2014 for $23,000.
